QUESTION RELATED ABOUT RAM FOR CELERON PC
Am usnig a Intel celeron pc, (Intel Original motherboard) I've put a 256mb ram nd a 128mb so the total memory is 376mb.
Am facing problems of system slowdown while multitasking, Its a DDR1 type ram.
I need to know whether I can put an 1GB SINGLE DDR1 ram? in this pc ie CELERON 2.00GHZ with Intel original motherboard??? as mentioned above
I knew hardware so no problem in fixing or removing it, Please do suggest me a solution for my doubt...
Re: QUESTION RELATED ABOUT RAM FOR CELERON PC
Most probably you can have 512 MB module in each slot so will come up with 1 GB RAM total.
However, I doubt if your board can support even 1GB per slot but chances are there but can't support 2 GB per slot.

It depends upon the motherboard. Celeron would support a max 512 MB i Guess.
