- Consumer Rights in India -
If you buy anything from a shop, catalogue or even the internet and there's something wrong with it, then you've got a right to do something about it.
and this something means ... you can either return the goods you have bought / refund / can even go to the court and claim compensation.
[b] BUT .....
unfortunately ... this concept is a thing far from even the thoughts of the consumers / the end product buyer.
why don't we in INDIA have consumer rights ... ???
is it because of corrupt government / uneducated public / misguiding businessmen. ??

Yes..We have consumer forum in India and full rights, but people are either not aware or are too laidback.

but as far as i remember ... the retailers ... cleary refuse to exchange / return the goods ... rather they say ..
fashion ki is badalte dur main garuntee ke aasha na kare.
and they r proud of it.

If they refuse, the consumer has the right to go to consumer court !! But how many people bother !!

Thats feeling from everyone ultimately results in corruption...no one wants to go and so no one wants to give justice !
