Marrying my loved one- parents not accepting- horoscope not matching

hi i m 28 year old guy, in relationship with a 28 girl. I met her through matrimony site. We became friends, we belong to the same community also, we bcame close and i proposedl her, she likes me a lot.. and me too. we use to talk every night initlay for 20 days for 5 to 7 hours every day. at some point of time we were ready to get married to eachother.


she is a gemini girl, friendly fun loving and tom boyish.. but the problem is her parents, they are very strict about her, they want the horoscope to matched fully and she told abt me indirectly to her parents which they said guy s of same age, and he s less qualified. but we both earn same salary infact i was earning higher than her. for us money and status is not a problem. She s already having delayed marriage bcos of her strict parents. She s the only daughter.

she doesnt like her parents bcos she used to face lot of problems and very strict and use to harress her while she was young, even now bt now she s staying away from her parents, to her parents she behaves like a silent calm girl, but generally she s very friendly with ppl and have lot of friends, esp guys... :P

we checked our horoscpe, even that is not matching..her mom believes in some guruji, she takes decisions according to him only. bt her guruji only helped her before in going on site(even her parents ws against that before). Now she thinks some miracle should happen through guruji..

she s negative thinking that nothing will happen between us, she s kind of strong girl, but i m more sensitive towards her. we met last week, had a good time. but she ws pretending like a friend sometimes.but we cried a lot and missng eachother.

she wanted us to stop talking since we keep on talking things will get worse and she ll get more emotional. all now sshe wanted now is to go out of india and work in US, and be single.SHe doesnt want to marry who their parents see. I said i cannot marry anyother girl other than her.

she wanted us to stop talking to eachother and moving away its been 3 days... i m restless help me..

I will not say much here but I will only say that ask her to maintain positive attitude, if she herself is giving up then nothing can help you both.

Couple of things to be noted here.

First, What I can see is the girl herself is actually putting in zero efforts to get married to you. Convincing her parents for the marriage is something that she needs to do first. Your involvement in her family comes later.

Second, for a person who believes too much into horoscopes, kundli and gurujis, it will be very hard for you to convince him/her to do something which is completely against the horoscope match. Even if her mother is ready for the marriage, she will always carry this doubt in her mind that something unfortunate is going to happen. So, its very hard for them to put their daughter on stake like this.



Nothing can be done until and unless the girl doesn't initiates a serious talk with her parents about you and about her marriage.
This negative thinking will actually end this relationship with no good outcome. I agree her parents were strict all through her life, but this is somewhere also true that she has done everything her parents wanted her to do. Now its time when she wants to spend her life with you, live a life where she doesn't want her parents to intervene much.

Its time when she should explain her parents that she is a grown up individual and capable enough to handle her own affairs. When she can think of going abroad and work there, she is good enough to choose her life partner too and hence she doesn't want her parents to interfere to much.

Also, she needs to explain that horoscope is something that one shouldn't believe in too much. There are marriages in abroad where people marry without any horoscope match. Moreover, everything written is not true always. The recent news of world getting end in December, 2012 was all false. Also, she will only get what is destined for her and her destiny is not controlled by any guruji.

Do communicate with her and make her understand nothing's going to happen until and unless she puts in her efforts.

Hi, I think you must ask her to discuss out things and take it positively. Tell her she should not regret later. If she really thinks kundli match is important, then get it done yourself (both of you). And then try to figure out things . Like this she should not be a pessimistic and run away from things and especially from someone she really loves. Try and explain to her. And anyway she is not going to live with her not so understanding parents. As you told she lives away from them , then she should not think about all this. In fact she must think of her future and make her future better. Good luck!

I really appreciate that you take sometime out of your busy schedule to help people out on love issues in a different way altogether. I used to really admire what you used to write earlier suggesting people to take a different approach, a different path of spirituality.
I have also read your post/ your link here and its a really good matter that you have written. But recently it seems you are trying to promote your article here. I don't see anybody taking any interest in your post. Nobody has commented on it, even, I feel there is hardly anybody who read it completely to see what you suggested.

My request to you is, if you can write down something in the posts which could proove helpful to the original poster or people reading it, it would be really great.

HI GUYS, thanks for the suggestion.. but talking with her parents abt this issue is useless and they will back fire her.once she told abt me, they started crying and creating all fake scenes and tellng that some evil spirit is occupyng u and all, bt this girl is too advanced in her thinking.. all she can do is jus to elope with me, bt for her she thinks guruji might tell somethng abt her future.,right now is she wants to go away from all this problems and go to US, she sometimes tells tht anyways nothng is gong to happn.. she s even confused. and doesnt want to focuss. we talk regularly almost every day. she s tryng hard for US may be with in 1 or 2 months she ll go to US, bt she seems to avoide me sometimes which i count take.. bt if i stop callng she ll call me back in 2 or 3 days.. she knows that i m crazy behind her.... she knws tht i am the guy who can handle her 100% and can take good care of her in future..she knws tht even my marriage talk will take time at my home... im havng fear tht what if she goes to US and totally forget me?? ur advise please

What I can see here is she is very much wanting to go to US and work there. This, what I feel, is somewhere good. Let her go to US and work there for a definite time. Don't worry she will not forget you. Understand if marrying to you is a problem with her, how can she just think about any foreigner guy and marry him. It will land her into big problem from her family side. So, don't worry about all this, just keep loving her and she will be yours.

Moreover, talking to her parents for just once isn't sufficient for this relationship to work out. She has to put in her constant efforts to make them agree for the match because she belongs to a family where horoscope, kundali and spirituality is taken in as reality and not superstitions. So, as said earlier, it will take alot of time for her parents to understand the reality. All you can do is wait and wait for things to settle down one day.
