My Husband gets angry often and he is not connected to family

I am so unhappy and sad lately. Dh 's temper really bad, kids drive him crazy and he leaves us in the house while he goes upstairs to get away from all of us for quiet. So I am once again the parent in charge. Over the holidays he did nothing with them. Absolutely nothing. I am the one who took them skating ( because he doesn't know how). I am the one that took them tobaggoning (because that is not his thing). I am drained, feel and look awful and don't even care to be around him. When kids go to bed, I go to our room and watch tv while he is downstairs watching his own shows. I mean how pathetic is that?

Everything puts him over the edge and quite frankly I would rather avoid him than sit and talk to him about stuff. Sad, eh? There was a time I was a happy person. :(
