How to know its time to get divorce from husband ?

Other than the obvious (cheating, abuse etc.) How did you know it was time to separate from your DH? I'm having a REALLY hard time with my DH. We both work 9-5 have two small children, we share the housework and bills. But I just feel like I dislike him more often than like him. We have talked about counselling and what we need to work on and it's this great big emotional talk but nothing ever happens. We had 1 counselling session a year ago. (for all the good that was :thumbsdown:) I used to think the only way I would be without him is if he died. I don't wish that but I never considered divorce.

How did you know that was the right thing to do?

Has anyone had counselling that was successful in keeping you together?

Please, I need help. I don't really want to rip my family apart.
