How to increase the warranty period for a laptop after the end of warranty period?

I just purchased a use laptop which is around 2 years older from samsung at 5,500 it does not contain hard disk but this is not big problem as i was in a plan to buy a decent laptop which work well for me for atleast a year and i think 160GB of hard disk will be enough which i think i could get under 2K. Now, this is not the issue what the main problem of mine is i wan't it service period to get extended if it could be possible.

Warranty period has ended up 1 year before, and now i am confused it this laptop didn't work well for a year atleast then all my money will get wasted what should i do.

please help.
