Inflationary pressures in India are more than in developed countries, the Reserve Bank of India deputy governor Shyamala Gopinath said on Tuesday.
"India is actively confronted by an upturn in inflation," she said in a speech at a banking event, adding a withdrawal from the supportive monetary policy may diverge considerably between developed and emerging nations.
