how to identify motherboard model.
Hai everyone,
i have a motherboard in the system. i don't have drivers for that mother board. how to identify the model of motherboard.
make of motherboard is asus i am using pentium 1 processor.
can please some one help out in this.

How old is your motherboard. Usually the simplest way is to look on motherboard itself if operating system is unable to tell about it.
Did you say you have Pentium I processor ?

the processer is celeron 1200 mhz 1.2 ghz. sd ram slot. i have put 512mb ram... but it is showing has 256 mb while i checked in mycomputer properties.
motherboard make is Acer. it shows while system boots up.

I am not sure acer thing. You need to find out which chipset it is. Intel Celeron .1.2 Ghz.. hmm.. most probably Intel 815 chipset. SDRAM.
Try to download 815 chipset drivers from intel website.
Do you have two 256 MB RAM module ? If yes then remove one and find out which is not working. Then swap the slots.
