The common problem of inefficiency and corruption

Every where there are these twin problems. In the Allahabad railway station you go with your own taxi auto and the railway protection force itself makes use of the taxi for their journeys and do not make payment. What a shame. The authorities do not take any action. This is just an example.

My wife's passport is pending for the past 4 years. There is nothing that should be on the way. When police came for verification I did not give all the money. That is the only fault I did. Who cares? The passport authority does not even tell what is the reason. Their website is not giving help.
