Hi......I do nice designs of mehandi .....but they hardly stay in maroon color for less than a week....then it changes to black red color and looks ugly....i use local mehandi cones.....after applying i leave it for some 2-3 hours....then i wash my hands...
i apply at the night time, i wash the hands in the morning...
should i mix any ingredient before applying the cone?
please help......i want my hands to turn red and attractive....

the colour of Mehendi depends on so many things. I have found out a few secrets and would love to share them with you.
while preparing mixture:
add beatroot juice
while drying:
Dab sugar and lime juice mixture with cotton. this prevents the mehendi from falling off.
Wile removing:
Put 10-15 cloves on a medium hot tawa n hold your hand above that.
Just rub hands and let eh dried mehendi fall off. apply coconut oil on it and massage your hands gently. Do not wash with soap immediately.
Ok, lime juice and sugar help to to prevent mhendi falling off, but what is this clove meant for ?
On heating Clove it produces heat that helps for dark color and the color stays long.
All these are good tips for very good and dark mehndi colour. Some people do add beetroot for red colour in Mehndi.
Lime Juice is best option for dark color. thank you for tips.
