IPhone 5 vs Windows Phone 8X and 8S by HTC - comparison with pictures

I was just reading about windows phone 8 came to know about new launch of Windows Phone 8X and 8S by HTC .

The HTC 8S has 4" Gorilla glass display and sports a dual-core 1 GHz processor – plenty fast for all but the most intense of power users – a 5MP rear camera, and 4GB of internal storage. Now it has SD slot also..

And then there is another one, 8X which is 4.3" with dual core 1.5 GHz, 16GB of storage, and two amazing cameras. On the back, you get a backside-illuminated 8MP camera that shoots full 1080p video, and on the front you get a 2.1MP, 1080p capable camera that has an 88 degree viewing angle.

Now talk about Iphone 5, everywhere there was so much, it comes with 4" display with resolution of 1136x640, thats pretty high resolution for such screen size. What else you get ? IOS6 .. 1.2 MP front camera and good stereo speakers.. Runs on A6 processor.

That is just a small comparison, in any case, window 8 HTC 8X looks so promising but what is your opinion ?

It's seems that the Windows Phone and the iOS battles is going to set up a new level in the market. Some of the comaparisons in my point of view are:
In terms of Software:
Apple newly launched iPhone 5 works on iOS 6, the most recent update to iOS. HTC 8X and the HTC 8S both works on the same platform Windows 8.
In terms of Display:
The iPhone 5 has 4-inch screen and the HTC phone 8X has a bit slightly larger 4.3-inch screen. Apple has LED-backlit IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen which gives nice resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels at 326-ppi. HTC 8X has slotted in an S-LCD2 capacitive touchscreen, which gives a better resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels at 342-ppi. The display is laminated with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for better security against scratches and drops. Whereas, in HTC 8S there is S-LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors which gives a slight low resolution than the HTC 8S of 480 x 800 pixels and it also has the same screen size as of Iphone 54.0 inches (~233 ppi pixel density), with a special protection feature of Gorilla Glass.
In terms of Processor : All these three phones are fitted with dual core processors the iPhone 5 is equipped with a 1.2GHz A6 processor, 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX 543MP3 graphical processor. At the same time, the HTC 8X phone is up with a 1.5GHz Krait processor and Chipset is set up with Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon CPU, 1GB of RAM and Adreno 225 GPU and the HTC 8S is also Dual-core 1 GHz Krait processor and chipset is set up with Qualcomm Snapdragon S4.
In terms of Storage:
iPhone 5 is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions whereas the Windows Phone 8X is only available in a 16GB edition and HTC 8X comes with 4 GB, 512 MB RAM as the iphone 5 and the Windows Phone 8S doesn't have the micro SD options the HTC 8S comes up with micro SD option available in which memory can be expanded upto 32GB.
Camera:
i Phone 5 have 1.2MP (iPhone 5) but it makes his foot forward by having a isight camera. HTC Windows 8X have 2.1MP front cameras for video chatting, and in HTC 8S have Primary camera of 5 MP, 2592х1944 pixels, autofocus, LED flash including features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection ,Video 720p@30fps but it doesn't have secondary camera.
Connectivity:
This is the first iPhone from Apple to get 4G LTE. Apart from the high speed cellular connectivity, the handset offers Wi-Fi, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot and Bluetooth 4.0. It is when the HTC 8X phone touts NFC besides Wi-Fi, dual band and Bluetooth 3.1. And HTC 8S has GPRS with Edge connectivity powering speed with HSDPA, HSUPA,WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth v3.1 with A2DP, EDR and USB support with microUSB v2.0.
Availability: Apple’s new handset is now already available. It is carried by AT&T, Verizon and Sprint in the U.S. Meanwhile, HTC will soon bring its phone to stores. Windows Phone 8 has just been released and the handsets with the software will be up there by November. HTC 8S is yet not available.
Price: HTC 8X is priced at Rs.35,023.
HTC 8S is priced at Rs. 19,260.
Iphone 5 priced at Rs 45,500.
Overall, Iphone 5 is somehow first priority to look for.

Did someone notice the orange colour? It looks Fab in orange(Talking about the windows pics posted by yahoo)

Well, windows have lots of bright colors.. it reminds me of kindergarten but yes orange one stands out.

The operating system looks really very futuristic. The iPhone's OS looks dated now. Time for them to work really hard.
