C 901 Green Heart:Sony Erricson's New Eco Friendly Mobile

After showcasing its Green Heart concept in September 2008, it recently made its announcement about its intention to bring the phone out of the “papers” stage to production reality, the result being the C 901 Green Heart.

It is a candy-bar phone totally green i.e. it is made up of recycled plastic. The inclusion of light-sensors is optimized to cut-down energy consumption. It also cuts down on the use of hazardous chemicals in the production, reduce paper consumption and use smaller packaging. Even the charger is eco-friendly and draws less than 30 milli watts of power when idle.

Being eco-friendly doesn’t mean it compromises on its features. The cool Green Heart is loaded with a 5 mega-pixel camera and a xenon-flash, photography tools and the latest Sony Ericsson media player.

The C 901 Green Heart will be available this very quarter of the year, although, there is no fixed date and price recommendation.

This will be very different phone... not frm usage or features purpose but from the actual product wise...

A good effort though, likely to be a costlier phone so may not be successful on practical side.

yes even i fell the price of it would be costly.. But for marketing Technics they should introduce this @ lot price so this also bring awareness among ppl to buy this phone rather buying phone of same value and which is hazardous to us and nature both.

Ohhh 25000/- is really a big amount for this phone.. :-( 100% a failure phone...
