Having trouble while preparing layers while on veg Biryani?

Hi, all!
I ordered for "Vegetable Biryani Masala Mix" from Kitchens of India online shop. Even the cooking instructions were mentioned on their site, I got some problem while making even layers of rice and gravy. I done well till rice preparation and gravy preparation, but all my hard work got fail while preparing layers. The layers were not layers, the problem got started while preparation from second layer itself. You all might have understood my problem.

You should first bowl the rice before making biryani.
