What is the maximum time for learning programming language Java ?

I am learning Java programming language from last month and am totally lost when I attend the first class of it. I am not a master but I can understands things slowly. Now I have little lost my confident to learn this language but somebody encourage me then I start hardworking and giving extra time to the language. I just want to know that If i'll giving extra time to my programming language how much maximum time it will taken. I know it depend on the person who learning but at least you can give a guess for dis ?
