Safe to delete Application data found under my documents windows xp ?

my first question here
my computer run windows xp but problem is that I am running out of space so I thought to have clean up and eventually I found that application data found under -my documents- is taking 1.5 GB of space. I don't have idea if it is safe to delete it or not.

exact location is
document and data >> all users >> application data
I think it is an hidden folder. plz advice me.

you can go into the folder and there will be lots of folder associated with programs installed on your computer. now you can look for programs you don't need and delete their data also clean he TEMP folder(it must be occupying the highest space)

Hi there,

It is perfectly ok to delete that file. It should have come there when you were trying to install any large software/game. Some s/w have self extractor right,these extractions usually takes place in this place.And these are usually automatically deleted after installation. So there are not important files.
