Hello
I am not able to find any portable AC in India and there are only split AC and windows AC sold in India but why there are no portable ac on sale. I need AC for a place where we don't have space to fix a window or split ac. We only need to use it for few months and after that we have to move away. .
But no store .. no online store was offering portable AC.
I have never seen portable airconditioner in India but I know they exist. I am curious to see one operating though !
both portable,split and windows ac circulates the air, inside the room, and hot ac gas is cooled down to release heat from metal coil to air and that hot air is thrown outside the room. no air ventilation is done between outside and inside air. But we think that inside hot air is pumped outside the room. that's why in india portable ac are not sold!! in usa sites all portable ac uses 120v and 60hz freq ac power. india does not support that power. voltage converter only convert voltage into 120v but not frequency . indian 50hz freq cant be converted into usa 60hz standard. so that will slow down compressure if buy usa based portable ac. you can only buy 240v ac from uk/Australia sites buy more exp than usa ac.
