Bajaj is going to launch another addition of Motorbikes this year in November. Bajaj is to create a new category or segment in the motorcycle market. Bajaj motors currently leading 21 % high in the motorcycle market.

Most probably would be in the 100-125cc segment. Bajaj Auto's fourth attempt is to break into the 100cc segment, which is largely dominated by Hero Honda's Splendor and Passion.

The Big motorbike companies like Hero Honda , Yamaha and TVS dominates 100cc segments and this category divided into two segments entry level which cost around Rs 35,000 and Premium cost around Rs 40,000 - 45,000/-.

According to Bajaj the new Discover 100cc, which is derived from the Discover 125/135 cc lineage, consumers would perceive the 100cc as a 125 cc.

According to the new Discover 100cc DTSi engine is the world’s most fuel-efficient motorcycle, with a certified 89 km to a litre of petrol. And it will be a breakthrough in the 100cc motorbike segments.

In pricing and fuel efficiency baja is surely going to rule out other companies.. Also the sales is always up of baja in all quarters...
