What is green marketing and its scopes in India?

Many times I came in front of a word called Green Marketing and never till now I came to that what exactly it means.
This is the most new word or field found out in the marketing field and no one exactly knows what it means and what for it is used.
So, can any one here tell me what this word stands for?
