"Survey Predicts 31 Million Users in India Upgrading to 5G Phones by December

India is experiencing a rapid adoption of 5G services, with an estimated 31 million smartphone users expected to upgrade to 5G phones by December 2023, according to a survey conducted by Ericsson, the world's leading information and communication technology company.
The survey also revealed that Indian 5G users are highly engaged with various apps, including HD video streaming, video calling, mobile gaming, and augmented reality, surpassing users in other markets.

Furthermore, India's satisfaction levels with 5G services are higher than the average in early adopter markets, and 15 percent of Indian consumers are willing to pay extra for bundled 5G services and applications.
The survey emphasized the significance of 5G performance and coverage in key locations to ensure user retention and satisfaction.
