What does promotional talktime and Data means ?

Hi,

I see that there is promotional talk time mentioned with various plans including voice and data. What does that mean and what is difference between promotional data and normal data and also same with the promotioanl talktime and normal talk time ?

For example, I recharged my phone with 300 MB + 300 MB Rs. 90 data card from Docomo, it says I have 300 MB promotional data because pack is actually 300MB only.

Promotion data and promotional talktime is offered to the customers by various ways like in talk time it will have a validity period of 7/10 days only, which could be the same for data usage. On the other hand promotional talktime is given by the company to make the benefit of their cellular network by lendering free call and messages on their network.
