The much awaited Ranbir kapoor starrer Rocket singh has released today. Directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Yash Raj Films, Rocket singh is a story about Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor ) has just managed to pass his B Com exams and has no interest in entrance exam for admission in engineering or medical courses. His dream is to become a sales man and he joins a company by the name of AYS Computers as a trainee. In a few days his dreams crashing down when his colleagues start making fun of him and his ways. Things become worse when he is humiliated in front of his boss. He decides to start his own firm by the name of Rocket Sales corp. with three other employees of his office. They work in the morning for their boss and in the night for their own company. In a few months their sales start soaring as their offer their round-the-clock service and at a very competitive rate with minimal profit margins. In the mean while he meets a girl named Ritu (Shazahn Padamsee) and falls in love with her. The boss of AYS offers to buy Rocket Sales at 60 lakhs but goes wild when he finds out who the MD of Rocket Sales is as the call that he makes him, rings in his own office. He forces Harpreet to sign papers and merge the two companies but his plans go hey way when all his clients refuse to do business with him and want to work with Rocket Sales.

The story of the film was extremely different and too interesting. One gets to learn a lot about business and marketing. There are many comedy scenes in the film which will not allow you to stop laughing. One of the scenes worth mentioning is when Harpreet tells his boss that it is not essential to drive their employees nuts for achieving their targets but it is also important to understand them and their needs.

Ranbir has done a remarkable job as a sales person and is holding the movie on his shoulders as New comers Shazahn Padamsee has the talent to come through,but needs she has to work hard on her dialogue delivery and body language. Ditto Gauahar Khan who too makes her debut in the film. Prem Chopra as Ranbir's grandfather does a wonderful job. The film is unique and worth watching. After Chak De people were waiting to see what the director would have in store for the audience. Rocket singh does meet up to expectations and also has a new story line. The movie has been produced by Aditya Chopra while music of the film is directed by Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant.
