3G connectivity for HTC touch diamond model p3490 on BSNL 3G SIM

Dear Sir,
I Have HTC touch diamond model p3490 . under connection settings it used "celluar line ( gprs, 3G), Today brought bsnl 3g card it does not show 3g connectivity. kindly tell me whether this phone supports 3g or not.

Further how can connect handset with laptop.

Topic Moved to BSNL mobile section since its about BSNL 3G connection.

Your phone does support 3G.

You need to change operation mode to 3G by going to Settings--> phone--> More --> Band Selection and select HSDPA there.

The actual location may differ a little but I hope you get the idea.

there is no option for band selection
