Want Digital Camera Point and Shoot budget 15,000

Hi,
I am looking for a digital camera to buy since i don't have much knowledge about camera's, from my sources i have seen that a point to shoot camera is a good option to go with but i heard it comes in a high-range as far my budget is concerned. I have a budget of Rs.15000 to go with 1,2 k above that not more than that .So if anyone with best product information to have reagarding my budget please let me know as soon as possible. Also specify the details of the product that would be an added advantage for me .
