Ghost Hindi Movie Review
Ghost which was meant to be a comeback film for Shiney Ahuja's has proved to be a complete disappointment. This horror flick was as disappointing as many other horror films produced by Bollywood. If you are expecting Ghost to scare you you may come out of the cinema hall disappointed. On the contrary Puja Jatinder Bedi's Ghost is extremely funny. The ghost who should be scaring people and giving them goose bumps is actually a foreigner dancer who for strange reasons dances on top of trees.
The story starts where two doctors, a nurse and a ward boy is killed. Vijay Singh played by Shiney Ahuja is called to investigate the case and somehow these killings are connected to Vijay's personal life . While conducting the investigation Vijay tends to fall in love with Doctor Suhani played by Sayali Bhagat who works in same hospital where these killings are happened.
This film is a non entertainer and fails to deliver. Both the actors have a poor screen presence and don't even share a good chemistry. There seems to be a serious flaw in casting. Shiney Ahuja is a good actor but in absence of a good script he had very little space to deliver. Sayali Bhagat has given a average performance too. Sandip Soparrkar makes a guest appearance in a song and is looking quite good and refreshing.
Talking about the technicalities of the movie there are serious flaws in the editing of the movie, the film fails to keep a good pace and turns out to be boredom in the middle. The background music is unimpressive and irritating. The movie has been shot in decent locations but the cinematographer fails to capture it with grace. In every horror flick special effects play a very important role in setting the atmosphere of the movie correct but in this movie no special attention has been given to special effects. The debutant director has failed to impress anyone with it's directorial skills.
This movie has nothing to offer to it's audience and ca be given a miss.

Few people are praising it, I am not among them though. I may not be watching it at all in theater . Will wait for its DVDs and may give it a chance to entertain me in free time.
