Is there any price variation between gold prices on mcx and market price

I want to know that most of the times when i see the current price of gold on mcx it's different and in the local market it is something else. I want to know whether is there is an actual difference or the showroom owners high the prices due to their profit. If there is an actual difference then please let me know that how much is set up as a standard difference.

Yes it is possible you witness price difference in gold in cash market and on MCX. It is not that showroom owners are charging high. It is based on the demand and supply factor. Also you will not see that there is major difference in price in both the market's.
