Hair Dye or Mehndi / Hina - which is better to use for hair color ?

Hi,

I have very simple question here. I see people say not to use hair dye but use Mehndi to color your hair if they are turning white. But mehndi takes a lot of time and effort to use it and also results are not very satisfactory but on other side Hair dye is easy to use.

People says that Hair dye also makes black here to become white.. and so use Mehndi always. So please tell which one is better .. hair dye or mehndi ?
