Lava XTRON tablet battery charging problem

Hi,

I have receiving my new LAVA Xtron tablet but there is problem I think in the battery charging. When I charge this tablet, it shows battery is charging but if I get inside settings and there it shows battery is not charging ?
Please tell what is the problem , is it problem with hardware or it is problem with software. It is so depressing to see that new tablet is generating problem . Looking for help and guidance and sorry for my ignorace, If i posted it in wrong section then please move it to right place.

I think it is software problem. It is because when you are using charging then battery is being charged properly. You can ask Karbonn service center to look into the issue but I assume you can ignore it completely. You may also try some battery status application and see what they show.
