Hi,
I know egg white is great and easiest source to get quality protein. But what is average protein content of an egg white. I am talking specially for Indian farm eggs as they are relatively smaller than other country's eggs as far as I know.
On boiling, how much protein actually remains on average in white part of egg ?
Well I dont know no much about it. but somewhere I had read it that a single egg white contain about 3.6gms of protein...
Since Indian egg is generally smaller, you can safely assume that it should have minimum 2.5 gram of protein.
11g is the correct answer for this thread. I searched a lot on it as well, I also got good idea about egg white.
11g.. how it is possible to have one egg white to have 11 gm of protein. I think you have wrong information.

also to say, when I used to go for a gym, my trainer suggested to me go for atleast 5 eggs a day.
But, rather he also suggested me, not to go with yellow bulk, but only with egg white, since, it (bulk) contains lot of heat, which may cause a bad effect on your health.
Thats not heat, that is fat. But it also content equal amount of protein too.
