VOLTE support for xiaomi mi4i without custom ROM

Hi,
As we know Reliance is the first one in the market who started 4G calling i.e. VOLTE. I heard that my mobile is fully supported hardware but due to old version of software this feature is not enabled i.e. Android Ver 5.0.2 is exists and to get VOLTE feature Android ver 5.1+ is must required so can anyone have idea how to sort out this issue without using cutom ROMS.

VoLTE is nothing big as people are publicizing, I guess RJIO was already aware of the situation and they have already included solution for it in the form of Jio4Gvoice app. This app can route all calls to your mobile / phone number whether it has VoLTE or not. It can even let you use your non-4G phone as full fledged 4G phone.

I have tested this app in few old device as well as new, so if your phone support LTE bands of RJIO then you can effectively use VoLTE capabilities using their provided app.
