Make Sony vaio laptop sve1513ynb as WIFI hotspot for Android connection

There is one more thing I want to know, since in my home I can't use internet connection through my router on second floor then can I use my laptop's reliance usb internet connection in my PC ? I have windows 7 installed on my sony vaio laptop sve1513ynb laptop and If I can share its internet connection to my android then would be great. I tried enabling ad-hoc network but it never worked because my phone doesn't detect my laptop ad-hoc wifi connection. I have installed all drivers properly and I can use wifi on my laptop but if I set ad-hoc, my android phone can't see it.

That is not hard, giving a google search revealed that microsoft has inbuilt feature for making your windows 7 into wifi hotspot. Your android device will not recognise ad-hoc network so better is go for WIFI hotspot feature but it will need some command line to execute it.

You need to follow the following steps :

1. Open up the Run command with Administrative permissions and run:

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Hotspot key=passwordhere

---

here give any ssid you want, we have Hotspot used here.

2. Set the network adapter with:

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

3. After running the command, you should notice "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" appear in your network and sharing settings.
Enable "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" under your Sharing tab, under properties.

Now you should see your computer acting as wifi hotspot device and now you can share your laptop's internet to any nearby device directly which support wifi.
