How do I disable automatic upload to onedrive in windows 8.1 of photos and documents

Hi everyone,

Today I signed into windows 8.1 games app from desktop widget of PC. Once I entered my live account ID, it asked me for verification and I verified . After that I saw a message flashing that now your photos and documents will be automatically uploaded to Microsoft OneDrive and then it got back to games screen. I see that its like windows phone where you need your account. But my PC was running fine even without connecting account for years. Anyways, so now I am concerned that I don't want to upload my PC pictures and documents to onedrive. There are many reason for that and one is that my internet connection is not unlimited... 2 that I have lots of space in my pc and have a spare hard drive also.

How do I turn off this sync or upload to one drive in windows 8.1 desktop pc ?

Its quite easy, do you know, you can also disconnect your live account from your PC.

For disabling sync or OneDrive upload..
Press "windows + I" and then from there look for "Change PC Setting" at the bottom.
There find "OneDrive"

Now at "Sync Settings',
Disable : "Sync your settings on this PC".

You may also want to disable
"Save Documents to OneDrive by Default" from "file storage" .

Now its sync is disabled.

Further if you want to disconnect your LIVE account from computer then again :
Windows + I --> Change PC settings --> Accounts --> Disconnect

Now you will no more require to use "Microsoft LIVE " account credentials.
