Roll Royce to launch "Ghost" in India By end of 2009

India already has around 40 Rolls-Royce cars and 14 of them having been bought last year.

Rolls-Royce India, however, has high hopes from the country to sell more cars here because in Indian market for Rolls cars is one-eighth the size of the Chinese market and one-third the size of the Japanese market.

Rolls-Royce Ghost is a smaller, ultra-luxury salon automobile designed by Ian Cameron and engineered by Helmut Reidl who is also noted for developing the fifth-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom

The company is planning to showcase it at their showrooms in India. Roll Royce is likely to be priced at around Rs 1.2-1.3 crore in the international market. But in India Price can be different due to taxes and duties.
