tough choice singh.......any reson y ur parents hate this guy so much??.whats his caste?? and whats urs??.......running away is never a option actually.....it never helps and is never a solution.....

If i Talk in a typical caste addict it is not that big a issue. Im a brahmin too and i know these issues lot more closely because ive too have lived with this. Since boy is brahmin and u r rajput that is not such a big issue as boy is of higher caste than yours.(this is not my opinion but opinion of majority caste addict.)

The only issue is that may be your dad is desperate not to give you in hands of any other caste than rajput....... who all are closer too your dad??........is there anyone whose e help you can take.??.Ask your bf to impress your dad indirectly....that is with the help of people your dad loves the most............i have faced the same situation so i understand this.........

But trust me running away or revolt kind of thing is not going to help..use this weapon only at the right time or else you are going to ruin it........

Th choice is yours only.You must think just one important thing and that is Does he really loves you?And if Yes then run with him and marry.because if you dint marry the guy you love you can regret it for your whole life.And if your parents really loves you as their child then they will understand your wish and will try to make your life happy.Otherwise i have seen parents in this world who use their girl for many purposes like her salary till their son ends enjoying his life and goes to work etc.This may not be in your case but think from deeply and take decision soon.

Have you ever asked the reason to your parents for not letting you marry your bf who is of higher caste than you, yes, I too sense that caste is not an issue here, may be as Mr. Gauri said, you father wants you to marry in your similar caste, so he seems to deny on you marrying your bf, but trust me dear running away from your own parents should not be the option to choose, try to convince them arrange a meeting of your bf with your parents let them know if the boy is good for you or not, and try and first ask the definite reason for denying on your marriage with your bf, is it because of financial security, or some other reason try to find out, Running away should never be kept as an option as there are many disadvantages than having advantages to it, so Please try and find the reason for the denial and explain your problem in detail to reach a proper solution.
