Onions at Rs 50 a kg from today in Delhi

Is this true that the Delhi government is going to switch the price of onion to 50/kg from today itself. If is it so than why it can't be done for the rest of India? Why there is always the loss of common people in the game of politics? Is this a kind of rationalism or what? Do all aver India the prices of commodity can't be same?
This is really pathetic to see how the leaders of country making a difference between metro cities and the others.
If anyone else agree with my views than write them so that a conclusion can be found out irrespective to politics.

Fund sharing is a big reason behind, why it is being done in Delhi or metropolitan cities and not in other parts of the country. centre enjoys a greater share of funds and the residents avail greater benefits. such kind of subsidies should be alike for all the citizens. Central government should take responsibility of it. After all, if all the citizens are treated alike while collecting taxes and fees then why not when rendering benefits..?

I don't know about the current prices of onion in delhi but in some places near where i live you can still by it at Rs 50-60 per kg. Issues related to it's prices is like a gamble which is played by these politicians to gain sympathy over common peoples.

This is useless, instead of fixing the issue permanently, they are providing temporary - useless and incompetent solution. Why not find out root cause of such price hike, find who is creating stock piles of onion to create artificial inflation and why not to find out those retailer who are selling onion for double price as compared to bulk price.
