Tata Kite hatch back spy pictures including interiors
There is spur in new launches, specially when there is festive season around. Recently TATA motors teased pictures of KITE through 'Made of Great' TVC featuring the new face of the brand -- Argentinean footballer and Spanish club Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
Built on a new platform, under the hood, Tata's global hatchback is likely to get a new 1.05-litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel motor that can churn out a power of 64.1bhp and 140Nm of torque and an all-new 1.2-litre petrol engine. The Kite is speculated to get e-clutch system similar to AMT that allows drivers to use manual transmission for the first gear without using the clutch.
Expected to be priced at around Rs 4 lakh, Tata Kite will rival Maruti Celerio and the Hyundai Grand i10 in India.We can see this car hitting market this December.
Recently, its interior spy pictures were shared by CarWale from which we can make out that it is going to have dashboard similar to current latest breed of tata motor's cars.
The Tata Kite’s dashboard isn’t identical to the one we have already seen on the Bolt, but it is expected to be washed in black with highlights just like its elder sibling. The oval shaped centre console will hold the air-con vents and in the higher end variants even a touchscreen infotainment system. The Kite too will source the touch-screen infotainment system from Harman. The steering wheel though is similar to the current crop of Tata cars.
