Don't make the mistake of lifetime by trying to go international to study .... till you are sure your parents have enuff funds to support you with the expenditure of living overseas excluding your Tution fee.

Disadvantage No. 1

  As a studen't you are not allowed to work. and even you do try and work the minimum of 20 hours you can be allowed to ... its difficult to cope with studies and work together.

  Things do seem adventrus but reality is bitter.
  
  Most of the countries have the policy .... that the student must return after the complition of the course.
  
  Visa extionsion is not only very difficult it is almost impossible.
  
  India has better job opportunities and indian compnies send employees overseas on work placement, so why waste money to come here and study.

May be you can add more of guidelines and real life experience as student out there so who wish to study abroad may get some idea of reality !

I'll come back in some time .. and make some imp points.

Well, personally I feel, its much more easier if you go abroad for job AFTER finishing the studies....as an employee, life is better than students who really have to face so much financial problems (in case the parents are not "rich" enough to support the kid's expenses)..!!

A question now ..!!

After having some experience myself, i feel why at all we have to leave India for either studies or job !! In India, there are many good options according to the qualifications....so apart from some personal reasons, why people leave India to go abroad, and then settle there forever ?

Well the answetr is simple ...

1. we underestimate ourselves and our country.
2. our country is economicaly not very rich, though now it's giving tough compitition to the west.
3. we have had a traditional craze of west and fancy coming abroad.

you people are rite

we all are attracted to glamour we don't see any facts ...i agree with talat and NRI

I have been studying in various countries all my life including India and I have to say that education abroad isawayyy better. No rattafying and you actually LEARN
