Random Shutdown Issue With Sony Xperia M5 Dual

Hello Friends,

I am using Xperi M5 Dual from the past nine months and my handset has problem of Auto Shutdown and won't power on without plugging the charger issue from the starting when it runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). I thought it was a software issue and will be fix bye a Update but after updating my phone into Android 6.0(Marshmallow) the problem is still there.

The phone has been to service center 4 times, each time replacing PCB and still the issue persist. Still waiting for a official statement from Sony "why they are not able to solve this issue" and at least they should accept their manufacturing fault with Xperia M5 dual.

Any suggestions for my problem?

You can try to repair the phone software with PC Companion (PCC) for windows or Bridge for Mac.

If you experience the same issue remove the SIM card and check again.

You can also check on safe mode and if nothing work, then you should take your phone to the Sony authorized service center to have your phone assessed to ensure it is performing as expected.
