Upgrading Acer Desktop PC to Windows 7- Driver Downloads for Win7

i have an acer desktop and m using windows xp sp-3 now but now i want to upgrade into windows 7
so from where i can download the drivers for this plse let me know as i m in gr8 pblm

i am using xp now but i have windows 7 dvd and i want to upgrade it . now my motherboard is msi from where i can download the drivers ?

Unfortunately, Windows XP can't be upgraded to Windows 7 directly, either upgrade to Vista from XP and from then XP to Windows 7 but thats not practical.

Secondly, there is a feature to transfer files and settings from XP to Win7 but again it will require you to install all application once again.

Best is that you make dual boot ie. also install Windows 7 on other partition along with windows XP and slowly make the migration. That is, keep windows XP until you are familiar and ready to use WIndows 7 at full.

Windows 7 has most drivers in-built. The ones it doesn’t have, it gets it from Windows Update. Just make sure you enable Windows update to download everything. If you have a device that doesn’t have Windows 7 drivers, then just install the Vista drivers, it should work.
