Hero Splendor Pro- A classic cafe racer gimmick - watch video

Few days ago Hero MotoCrop launched their new addition as Splendor pro classic. I saw news but was not thrilled but and appears to be a childish attempt from Hero. Now I saw this video, I guess they are too much excited for this.

Powering the cafe racer is the same 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor as seen on other Splendor offerings. But the Hero Splendor Pro Classic’s powerplant has been tuned slightly as it churns out 8.36Ps at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 8.05Nm at 5,000rpm. Power is transferred to the rear-wheel via a 4-speed gearbox.

The new Splendor Pro Classic will be offered in two shades of Carbon Black and Solid Maroon and has been priced at Rs. 53000 . Its quite costly compared to splender regular and splender pro version.
