I purchased a new laptop from dell as it was under an offer on an online retailer. This laptop has got all the power for which i was looking for. It has i3 Core Processor, 4GB RAM, 350 GB HDD, Inbuilt Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit but the problem is as soon as i connect my laptop with HDMI cable it hangs a lots which is totally a messy issue for me. I want it to get connected via my TV. Please help
The issue maybe related to Windows searching and configuring the HDMI port. Once that is done, it will be a smooth process afterwards to connect your TV to your laptop.
I suggest, you cross-check that your HDMI drivers are in place and installed/configured by Windows. If drivers are configured to recognize HDMI device and ports, I don't think the same hanging issue will arise.
If it persists, please call Dell support for resolution of your issue.:)
