Reliance Jio Is Now Targeting The DTH Sector Of India
With the emergence of Reliance Jio, the telecom sector in India has grown far more than anyone imagined thanks to the free 4G services for six months. Now Jio is trying to make its presence in the digital content services. Reliance Jio Infocomm’s (RJIL) next service might be Jio DTH.
The upcoming Jio DTH service is rumored to be powered by Android and Jio will facilitate outdoor customer premise equipment, which will be connected to the nearby Jio tower and the wire will be attached to the DTH in user’s house. In some areas, Jio is planning to give the wiring via optical fiber cable, instead of CPE.
There is no specific time mentioned for the rollout of this service, but when it comes it will be a game changer in the country's digital content services.
