How can i get my older passport at my permanent address

Dear All,

I applied for a passport in 2007, all my police verification was over. Still i didn't receive my passport yet. So recently in Oct, 2012 i applied for new passport but while processing my application i was informed that my old passport has been issued. So i want to know how can i get my passport back in my permanent address.

Its been issued then you should wait as it will reach you seen automatically by postal mail.
