Sports activity does not get proper treatment in school time and hence real sports person do not get what they seek. If we can tap sports quality of a person right from his school time then we can get lots of good sports persons in India but things just do not work the way they should.
but what really stops person from becoming a sports person is insecure future because when time comes for a person to perform at higher levels he/she also has to make a carrier for long term because only cricket in our country can help a person feed his family otherwise they don't have any future so they have to divert attention towards their personal life which affect their performance/also Red tapism should be stopped.
Well i feel as per indian Parents Mentality they just want their childrens to become Doctors, engineers, pilots , business man, MBA and all they never think that if a child is really good in sports and doing outstanding then lets push him into sports..
This reason brings mental pressure on children and so thy jst avoid sports to avoid problems between them and their parents.
