I heard at few places that it is not good read or watch TV while you are eating. But I never knew if its true. I mostly eat when I am reading something or watching TV else I can't feed.

Well i dont think there is any thing wrong with watching TV while you eat but it should not become a habit...Waise if you are habitual then just start concentrating on the process of chewing while you eat! you will easily get rid of it.
While reading are you fully enjoying your food ?
While eating do you understand everything well?
After finish watching TV can you remember how much you consumed?
While driving are you fully listening to other man or try to drive safely?
Doing two thing at a time is sometimes harmful.
Look at some of your body function. Certain two
things are not taking place at Time.
It is better to do one thing at a time to get the full benefit of the activity.
