MId Day Meal Scheme in India - Are Playing with children Health?

Supreme Court of India on November 28, 2001 starts the Mid Day Meal Scheme in India just started to increase the enrollment and attendance of students, improved socialization in the children those belongs to different castes , addressing malnutrition and to encourage girls and women educations in the country.

12 crore children are getting the benefit from this scheme and Govt. has this programme has been enhanced from Rs 3010 crore to Rs 4813 crore and so on.

But We are Now days hearing that Children those who are getting benefit from this scheme are actually getting a bad health due to ignorance of the people who are making it.

Every time we are hearing the children got hospitalized due to Mid day meal provided by school.

Today 100 students fell ill after eating their mid-day meal at a state run girls' school,Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya at Trilokpuri, New Delhi today.

Now the Doctor attended those children said they are out of danger and Police also filed a complaint against the head master , teachers and other official involved in the distribution of the food.

This Mid Mad Meal has been start for the some reason which I updated in the above but the schools are not taking it serious and we are continiousily hearing of such kind of news .

Why they are not severing the childrens a healthy food and people those who involving in this why ignoring it as this food scheme appointed different people other than teacher and peons of school to make and distribute the food.

The Children today got ill due to Mid Day meal said the food is a day older and there also some kind of smell coming out. Govt. is giving huge amount of money to every school to serve food, but question is where the money and the raw item going ?

Govt. Must do weekly suspence inspections to stop such kind of ignorance.

What you people think what should Govt. or Education authority to do to stop such ignorance ?
