On the Comex, gold for delivery on August 13 was seen closing at $1,284.15/oz, a gain of $4.25 or 0.33% on Friday.The futures are closed for weekend. Silver on the Comex for delivery on September 13 closed Friday at $19.895/oz, registering a loss of $0.061 or 0.31%.

MUMBAI (Commodity Online): If the survey results of Bloomberg are anything to go by, gold futures are poised to climb next week. Nineteen analysts surveyed by Bloomberg think that gold futures may rise next week even as nine analysts were bearish and three neutral.

Gold as of last quarter has lost 23% y/y and witnessed acceleration in declines as US Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke hinted that the Quantitative Easing measures announced by Fed would see a tapering starting second half of this year.

Energies crude oil and natural gas both are fixed in changing mode and crude oil seeing at above side with good points, its recent trading price is 6359 points, and its opening price is 6350 points, and its previous closing price is 6339 points.

The yellow precious metal gain 97 points at 26698.00 and the white metal gain 109 points at 41425.00.

MCX August Copper prices have resistance at Rs.422.0 around and selling can be seen there. On lower side prices can give break down below Rs.418.0 and can test Rs.414.0. Prices should not move above Rs.425.5 to remain negative. A close above Rs.427 will turn the outlook positive otherwise correction is expected.

MCX Gold Oct futures contract trend is looking positive on chart, day traders can buy on dips Major support is seen in range of 27700, 27480 and 27200 . While important resistance is seen near 28170, 28380 and 28650.

Prices are passing through a consolidation phase & rising steadily on a weekly basis forming higher-highs & higher lows… we could see further upside in Silver prices till 42000 & 43500, with Immediate Support at 39900… Target 1 Achieved… Now, Modify SL below 40400 & trade However, overall trend still remains down till prices are trading below 44500… We advise to Sell only on strong rallies with stop above 44500.
