The key benchmark indices were trading higher in the early trades today. The Sensex was up 89 points at 17,208 levels and the Nifty rose 0.4 per cent to 5,137.

Auto, oil & gas and IT Stock led the advances in the markets.

Among the Sensex stocks, Hindalco was the top gainer. The stock rose 1.6 per cent in early trades.
Grasim, ACC and maruti were up over 1 per cent each.

Bharti Airtel, however, was the biggest loser in the pack. The stock shed 0.9 per cent.

Asian markets, led by China, were trading sharply lower today. The Shanghai Composite fell 2 per cent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was down 1.3 per cent and Japan’s Nikkei slipped 0.8 per cent

Stocks which were among market gainers today are : Reliance, Tata Motors, Infratel, Kotak Mahindra Bank. For earning high returns it is must to pick good performing stocks for trading purpose.
