The art of Governance - Indian style

Yesterday's newspaper carried an article saying that the " Union Cabinet gives approval for additional commercial flights to Iran ".
About six months ago, the same union cabinet gave approval for additional commercial airline flights to Tanzania.
Is there something odd about all this.?
YES, plenty. In other countries, a mere department of a ministry concerned handles such matters and gives such administrative clearances and approvals.
But here in India, a full fledged union cabinet sits and deliberates over such 'trivial matters' to finally give its nod of approval. As if there are no urgent pressing issues to tackle or address. These people are still savoring and living the life style of the bye gone British colonial era.
No wonder, the union cabinet has no time to address the real issues facing the country. No time to formulate and initiate new real reform guidelines in various sectors of the government administration and bureaucracy.
No time to initiate legal reforms while over 14 million cases are pending in Indian courts for decades.
No time to initiate reforms in the telecoms, transportation, taxation and various other
sectors while pollution, clogged roads and immense wastage of resources are the order of the day.
No time to formulate a proper security framework that can handle modern day security issues.
No time to do anything else except micro manage such things as giving approvals for international commercial flights.
No time for anything else except give excuses and throw blame on others for their inept and tardy performance and excuse of governance.
They sure got their priories upside down or they simply don't have any clue what they are supposed to do as a government.
Jai Hind.

Hmmm...
' Hatred and partiality' against who.?..Any particular community. religion or language.?...Please analyse what is being written in the postings. They are directed against a system that has produced less than satisfactory form of performance.
Unless a system is considered as an individual or group, one wonders how 'partiality and hatred' can be directed against it. A system is an inanimate entity and has no personal feelings to be agitated by so called 'hatred and partiality" of my postings.
Please be objective when making observations.

I guess eTI guidelines are referred for further clarification. I think that this message is more for comments on your topic and not topic itself.
