I am a graduate student and preparing for government exams i was basically preparing for ssc cgl 2013 and i would like to know that when the official advertisement for SSC CGL will be published. Also recommend me the official books for preparation.

Expected, CGL SSC 2013 Exam details are as follow:
Date of advertisement : - 19.01.2013
Closing date : - 15.02.2013
Exam date : - 14.04.2013 & 21.04.2013
There are different Tiers existing in the Scheme of Examination for SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2013:
Tier -I: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -II: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -III: Personality Test/Interview/Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test (Wherever Applicable )
There is another likelihood that a short Descriptive Paper will be introduced in the Tier-II of SSC CGL Exam 2013. The Descriptive Paper will be of 1 Hour Duration and have Questions based on English Language and Comprehension, Quantitative Abilities and General Awareness. every one is waiting for notification.
