Well, yes,
Atleast moderate action can be taken. But bureaucracy can't allow it happen. Imposing heavy taxes on third child etc.. can be easy solution.
General awareness
India is powerful because it has great number of people. What is wrong with a big population. More people are just fun. The problem is ignorance, superstition, prejudice, no fear of God and moral decline. When there are more healthy and decent men and women in a country no other nation can stand against it. We can be one. It is moral evil in the society like alcoholism, criminality, injustice, bribing in government departments, and the like that create real problems. Men and women with moral fibre are never a liability to any nation. China's policy is authoritarian, inhuman and counter productive in the long run.
Try finding a parking lot in a city in India , and you would start believing in population control.Yes, it cannot be imposed. You need to be aware and for that education is the base that would be required.
Why do rabbits have faster multiplying rate than human being. Simple.. they never went to school
population control is the need of the hour. govt have to enforce strict laws as in china.
